Quotewright handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Information we collect from you
When you fill in a form on this website, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, business name, phone number, email, website, service area and information about your business. We also collect basic website usage data through analytics and advertising tools (see below).
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and book a strategy call
- To send you the resources you ask for, such as the sample proposal
- To send occasional practical emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
- To understand how our website and advertising are performing
We don't sell your personal information.
How we handle your customers' data
When we work for a painting business, we handle the personal information of that business's customers (for example, the name, phone number, email and address of a homeowner who enquires about painting). We handle it on our client's behalf and only to:
- respond to their enquiry and book measure-ups;
- send reminders, proposals and follow-up messages about their painting job; and
- keep the client's CRM records up to date.
Every text and email identifies the painting business it's sent for and includes a way to opt out, in line with the Spam Act 2003. We don't use one client's customer data for another client, and customer data belongs to the client. If an engagement ends, we return or export the data to the client.
Analytics and advertising tools
This website may use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure visits and ad performance. These tools use cookies and similar technology. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and adjust ad preferences in your Google and Meta accounts.
Storage and security
We store information with reputable service providers, some of which may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
