The proposal

The proposal that stops a price comparison.

Most painting quotes are one page with a total at the bottom. A proper proposal shows the customer what they're actually buying.

The usual quote. A total and a few lines. Compared on price alone.

Painting quote questions.

What should a painting quote include?

At minimum: every area and surface being painted, the preparation, the products and number of coats, the price, what is excluded, the warranty, payment terms and how long the job will take. Licence and insurance details should be on it too.

Why does a detailed painting proposal win more jobs?

When a customer has several quotes, a one-page quote leaves them only the price to compare. A detailed proposal shows the preparation, products and warranty, which gives them a reason to choose on value rather than the lowest number.

Who sets the price in a Quotewright proposal?

The painter. You measure up and set the price. We write the proposal around your scope and numbers, and you approve it before it goes to the customer.

You quote and paint.
We handle everything in between.
